Pandan Island collects and processes data solely for its own use in order to provide free and fee-based services as well as to improve its offering. In doing so, we protect this data using appropriate measures when transferring (e.g. via SSL encryption) and storing it. Personal data, such as job application documents, is processed in accordance with the legal requirements.

Analysis of web usage

Whenever our website is visited, Google Analytics and cookies are used to make evaluations for the purpose of improving our offering. We have signed a data processing agreement with Google. Data is anonymized so it cannot be associated with a specific individual. You can use a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics.

Transmitting sensitive data

When you send us data, you agree to it being recorded, saved and processed for the purpose indicated. If not stated otherwise, this data is saved in the form of an email. If you send us personal data online, we assume that you consent to us sending a reply by the same means or via a secure communication channel. Please send us any sensitive data, such as user names and passwords, using separate communication channels.

We use Youtube to play videos. To display text, we embed web fonts from Google and Adobe Typekit. We use Google Maps for maps. These providers can track access to their platforms.

Third-party providers such as Google, Facebook and Vimeo use cookies to offer additional services (e.g. ads) related to your usage of the website and the internet based on your previous visits to this website or others. You can delete the cookies in your browser or completely disable cookies in your browser.
Social Plugins

We do not use any social plugins embedded directly by providers. If you use our social media, you agree to the relevant guidelines of the social media provider.

Emails

Please note that emails may not be fully encrypted end to end for technological reasons. During transmission, emails may be viewed by third parties and may be manipulated. They may also be caught in a spam filter and lost. Business correspondence and documents are saved for ten years according to the legal requirements.

Pandan Island Resort may use software from companies that are subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield or a corresponding agreement.
