12 years ago I went on a "youth-trip" with my aunt Mex and uncle Christian who were both pensioners in their 60's. The danish travel agency had made a mistake, so when we got to Pandan we were told that all was full :-(
My uncle was a bit stubborn so he sad down on the ground and claimed, that someone would have to find a bulldozer to remove him! (To be honest - this was a bit embarrasing :o)
We were lucky - and somehow Denis managed to find room for us - and we even spent the rest of our time in The Phillipines there. Christian spoke french fluently and was even a keen petanque-player, so he had a fantastic week under the palms and enjoyed the good company of the management... (The rest of us had a fantastic week as well of course!)

It was nice to see the pictures on the Pandan island homepage - and discover that the place still looks as 12 years ago: nice, clean, down to earth, not too crowded. It is my experience that this is rare in Asia, where resorts often becomes overdeveloped or simply fall into decay.

Ten days on this small paradise made me relax so much, I could not believe how capable I am of slow walking...enjoyed every minute, the wakeing-up sight from the hut (ocean), the early morning walks and swims to see the turtles, breakfast (if only coffee was better), snorkelling, massages (rose and nek nek are pearls). chitchats with gabriela and her kids, rode to apo, sunset cruise for my birthday, new years. and rum and coke evernight before sunset...feeling energized now, being back in cold switzerland. thank you all pandan people,

Surely I will visit again

We've been to Pandan Island several times, and it's me and my hubby's favorite place to unwind and relax. The place is really amazing, and the food is delicious. We enjoyed snorkeling with the 3 resident turtles. We're looking forward to going back there soon. Cheers!

My friends and I visited Pandan island amidst the storm signal last May 1-3...such a short period to enjoy the peace and quiet of this island...everything about this vacation were so memorable...the delayed flight due to the storm(praise God we landed safe!)....the bus ride to Sablayan (we can not see a thing in the dark road hahaha and we arrived the port area @ past 10 pm)...the boat ride to the island (we have to step out of the boat to push it coz it's low tide and of course we met gorgeous and so kulet, Marina-miss yah)...and of course the stay at the island was one of the best (we were so excited we got up the following morning 7am---and got scolded by a Danish coz he's still sleeping hahaha!)...we a had a simple breakfast and great lunch and dinner superb! of course how could we forget the exchange of stories with our dear Marina....when we get back we'll makesure to visit the Apo Island and be not so afraid to try diving.....thank you for the warm accomodations and keep the island as simple as it is =) God bless
